Why I Bought This Conditioner
This is my honest review of the Deep Moisture Conditioner with Silk Protein by Skin Deep International, which I bought mainly because of the hype around it. My previous conditioner had finished, and while searching for a new one, this product kept popping up with extremely positive reviews.
People were claiming that it completely transformed their hair texture, reduced frizz, made hair silky smooth, and one thing that stood out the most was how much everyone loved its rich coconut and vanilla fragrance. Reading all of this genuinely convinced me to give it a try.
What the Brand Claims
According to Skin Deep International, this conditioner is formulated to repair dry and damaged hair. The brand highlights ingredients such as Rice Silk Protein, Pro-Vitamin B5, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Vanilla Oil, and Rosemary Oil, which are meant to nourish the hair, reduce damage, and improve overall texture.
On paper, the ingredient list looks promising, especially for people dealing with dryness and frizz.
My Experience After 6 Months of Use
I used the Deep Moisture Conditioner with Silk Protein consistently every time I washed my hair for around six months. This is what I genuinely experienced:
Texture & Smell
The conditioner has a very creamy, fluffy, and silky texture, which feels luxurious while applying. The smell is honestly very yummy — a strong coconut and vanilla scent that feels comforting during application.
However, one thing I was disappointed about is that the fragrance does not last in the hair once it dries. Considering how much people praised its smell, I really wished it lingered longer.
Frizz Control & Hair Health
Before using this conditioner, I was dealing with a lot of frizziness, dryness, and hair breakage. With regular use, I noticed around 50–60% reduction in frizz, and my hair definitely started breaking less than before.
That said, I wouldn’t call it a magical product. It helped, but it didn’t completely solve all my hair problems.
Important Note on Hair Health
I want to be very honest here. During this period, I was also going through stress-related issues, which badly affected my hair health and made my hair more rough and frizzy than usual. Because of this, I don’t think it would be fair to judge the conditioner too harshly.
The product may perform much better on healthier hair. So while I didn’t experience dramatic results, I also can’t fully blame the product when my hair itself was struggling internally.
Price & Quantity
Quantity: 250 ml
Price: Rs. 2099
For the quantity and formulation, the price sits in a mid-range category. It’s not cheap, but not extremely expensive either.
Rating
⭐ 3.5 out of 5
It’s a decent conditioner that does help with frizz and breakage, but it’s not a miracle solution.
Would I Re-buy It?
Maybe. I would consider re-buying it if I don’t find a better conditioner in this category. It worked reasonably well, and my experience wasn’t bad — just not extraordinary.
